Hello and welcome to MyDreamPower.com. This site is a project of Dream Power International, a Seattle based non-profit who's mission is to help people with their gifts and life purpose. What we call their "true dream" in life. Our goal is to help people discover what they love to do (their gifts) and apply it to a problem in the world they care about (their purpose). We believe our gifts are to be shared as unconditionally as possible and so we follow "The Economics of Love" and give all of our products and services away as freely as possible. We have many cool projects the first of which is our Social Community Website community.MyDreamPower.com which I would love for you to join. We also give away our latest, film a documentary "Journey of the Dream Warrior" free of charge. You can view it on our website or we can send you a DVD if you like.

To assist you along this path the site is broken up into three main areas, Organization, Wisdom and Resources.

ORGANIZATION
The organization section is meant to help you meet us and get to know us as people and as an organization. Read about our mission and our manifesto and learn more about our philosophy. We give talks and workshops. We produce films and periodicals as well as this web site. If you're interested in any of these please contact us as we would love to hear from you.

WISDOM
The heart of the site is the wisdom section and it is here that we have compiled what we consider to be the wisdom related to understanding and living your life purpose. Here you will find writings, articles, videos, films, interviews and online journals from other dreamers etc. Make sure you check out our new film which we just released called 'Journey of the Dream Warrior."

First, to get yourself oriented, check out The Four Stages of Awakening to Your Purpose this is a map of the territory, so to speak. Then your next stop should be the Dream Warriors Handbook. A Dream Warrior is one who has decided to follow the call and pursue the path of understanding, discovering and living their life purpose. Here we've accumulated all of our writings and ideas that we believe can help you do that. Then check out The Dream Masters a list of people who we feel have mastered this process. People such as Dorothy Day, Joan of arc and the Peace Pilgrim. And finally, Legends of the Dream Warriors is a section where we try to get across these concepts through some fictional short stories we wrote.

RESOURCES
The resource section is where you can find additional resources to help you on this path. Here you will find a bookstore we created in association with amazon.com called The Store of Dreams. In the store we've gathered the books, videos and music that we feel can help you the most. Dream Club is a definite resource you want to take advantage of, it is what we call a creative support group that meets both online and off-line. The online version is a Yahoo group, an e-mail list that is meant to be a free and safe forum for you to share your journey, and get supportive feedback. We also meet off-line at a coffee house in Seattle. Inspiring Places is a list of places around the country that we felt are inspiring just as the name implies. Parks, gardens, coffee houses. Places where you can go to really tap into your creative powers. So the next time you are really feeling kind of uninspired check out Inspiring Places and see if there is one near you. And lastly The Dreamers Market is where dreamers like you can share their creations with the rest of us.

As you can see it's a lot of stuff. Choosing to move out of our comfort zones and into our power and purpose in life is a big step and a big job and to succeed we'll need as much help as we can get. Hopefully, this site can help take some of the mystery out of the process so that it's not so scary and a lot more fun. Unfortunately, we can't tell you what your life purpose or dream is, I wish that we could. All we can do really, is get you on the road and help you along the way as much as possible.
