In June we took 18 at-risk Seattle youth to see the famous Cirque Du Soliel. Watch a video of the trip as well as pictures. Many many thanks to everyone who made it possible.

It's summer time and what better way to spend it than at the beach. On a particular trip to the beautiful Golden Gardens beach park in Seattle, four more important lessons on creativity were revealed. I've got to tell you about this really cool movie I just saw called "Peace one day". It's about a guy named Jeremy Gilley who decided that the world needed one day of peace. Without any experience, money, connections, with nothing except the idea and his passion for it, he set out to make this day a reality. And, after several years, traveling around the world taking to tons of people, he pulls it off. This film is his documentary about what he went though to make this day a reality. The other cool thing is he really shows you the power of having a singular goal and pursuing it relentlessly like a laser beam. But what was disappointing was that even with such a simple idea as a day of peace, the amount of difficulty he had in getting the countries of the world to agree on it. What's really amazing about him though, is the fact that he is the living embodiment of the idea that all it takes to change the world is one person. When you see him it inspires you. He makes you really believe that anything is possible. Check out the new profile I made for him.

Hey, I don't know if you know or not but there was a monumental event on the Internet the other day. The launch of Internet video via Google and Yahoo and others. why is this monumental? Google allows anyone to upload any video of any size to their servers and then provides an easy way for anyone in the world to view them and search for them. All for free! This is obviously the future of television and film distribution. Digital video made it easy to make films now Internet video makes it easy to distribute. So now we really have no excuses. So if you have something to say on video and want the world to see it check out google video.

To dream the impossible dream, To fight the unbeatable foe, To bear with unbearable sorrow, To run where the brave dare not go.

To right the unrightable wrong, To love pure and chaste from afar, To try when your arms are too weary, To reach the unreachable star.

This is my quest, To follow that star -- No matter how hopeless, No matter how far.
